Yan Zhen

Biography

Dr. Yan Zhen is an assistant professor in the School of International and Public Affairs starting from Nov 2013. Yan Zhen holds his PhD and MA in World History from the Institute of International Studies in Jilin University. His received his bachelor degree in English from Jilin University in 2007. He teaches and researches in the area of public diplomacy and globalisation. And he is also supervising MA students in International Relations and Public Diplomacy programmes. His current research interest is found in the historical development and the globalisation of soft power and public diplomacy.
