First Annual workshop on East Asia

Sponsored by CIRS and Area Studies program of Yonsei University, the first Annual Workshop on East Asia was taken place at Jilin University on April 26, 2008. Director Prof Liu delivered the opening remark.

This workshop had two Keynote penal sessions with Keynote addresses by Prof Park and Prof Tian in the morning and Prof Go and Prof Liu has also made excellent presentations. Afternoon the student session it had 3 penals around topics of regional strategy, great power relatins, transformation of socio-economy, construction of civil society and challenge of globalization. Prof He, Prof Ren and other discussant made their aruguments by pointing the ad & disadvantage of students' presentation.
